Sanjay Malhotra, currently serving as Revenue Secretary, is set to take the reins as the new Governor of the RBI starting December 11, 2024. Malhotra, a distinguished Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the Rajasthan Cadre. Furthermore, he holds a degree in Computer Science Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. Additionally, he possesses a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the renowned Princeton University in the United States.
