Shah Rukh Khan to launch his new OTT app, elated Salman Khan congratulates, says ‘Aaj ki party meri taraf se’

While big Bollywood celebrities are slowly and steadily making their way to OTT platforms, one of the biggest superstars of India Shah Rukh Khan went a step ahead and announced his own OTT app. SRK recently announced that he is going to launch his own OTT app which goes by the name SRK+. King Khan shared the update on his social media hands earlier today and sent fans into a frenzy.
Well, it seems it’s not only SRK fans who are excited for Shah Rukh’s own OTT app, one of his closest friends from the film industry Salman Khan is elated too.
SRK shared a photo on his Twitter handle and wrote, “Kuch kuch hone wala hai, OTT ki duniya mein.” Salman Khan retweeted this and wrote, “Aaj ki party teri taraf se @iamsrk. Congrats on your new OTT app, SRK+”.
Though Shah Rukh Khan has been away from the big screens for a long time now, the actor has made it to headlines for several reasons. Recently, an old video of the actor talking about ‘sadness, loneliness and futility’ of war went viral on social media amid Russia-Ukraine dispute. The Pathan actor was heard saying in the video, “Only the dead have seen the end of war. Nobody knows when a war is going to end. It only ends for the guys who have died. So there is a lot of futility in war. There is a lot of sadness in war. There’s a lot of loneliness in war.” He further continued, “Whatever the reasons anyone gives for it, good, bad, ugly, revenge, nice strong, need of the hour – the fact is that war is not nice. War is not an alternative to peace and goodness. War is not an alternative to love, discussion, talks or even tiffs. War is not something that anyone should go in for.”
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan will be returning to big screens after a hiatus of more than 4 years with Yash Raj Films’ Pathan. The actor will be seen portraying the titular character in the movie while Deepika Padukone will play the female lead. John Abraham will be portraying the role of the antagonist in this much-awaited movie. Pathan is slated to hit the big screens on January 25, 2022.
