Shah Rukh Khan is NOT happy about DDLJ returning to theatres for Valentine’s Week. Here’s why

After establishing himself as Bollywood’s King of Romance, Shah Rukh Khan is just steps away from earning the title of Bollywood’s Action King! However, a huge barrier stands in the way. Just as Pathaan was about to convince audiences that SRK was a ‘tough guy’, Raj is back to melt anyone’s heart with his cheesy yet loveable lines. And it seems like King Khan himself is not a big fan of it!
SRK on DDLJ re-releasing
In case you missed out, SRK’s iconic film Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge is set to re-release in theatres during Valentine’s Day week. However, King Khan doesn’t seem too happy about the fact that Raj is making a comeback with Pathaan still around.
Taking to their official twitter handle, Yash Raj Films, the production company behind both DDLJ and Pathaan, tweeted, “Blockbusters of 2 eras – #DDLJ and #Pathaan are here! This Valentine’s week, witness the grandness in cinemas near you,” to which Shah Rukh replied, “Arre yaar itni mushkil se action hero bana….and you guys are bringing back Raj…uff!! This competition is killing me!!!! I am going to see #Pathaan …Raj toh ghar ka hai.”
For the unversed, prior to the release of Pathaan, Shah Rukh had revealed that he had been dying to do an action film. “I have only wanted to be an action hero, so for me it is my dream come true. I came to the film industry 32 years ago to be an action hero, but I missed the boat because they made me a romantic hero instead,” he had said. With the re-entry of DDLJ, we can’t wait to see Raj and Pathaan battle it out in the box office!
