Amid the divorce rumours with Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik, Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza has shared another cryptic post on Instagram. The tennis star posted a story on the photo-sharing app and talked about giving “yourself a break.” Sania has shared a few cryptic posts in past one month and has left her fans concerned.
“You are human, made of light and dark. love yourself enough to allow being a little fragile. learn to give yourself a break on days when your heart feels at its heaviest,” she wrote in her latest story. Sania’s posts recently led to rumours of her parting ways with Shoaib Malik.
Recently, a report in Geo.tv suggested that the couple will be announcing its divorce after solving the legal issues and fulfilling other commitments. Last week, it was announced that the star couple will be hosting a show named “The Mirza Malik Show”.
Neither Sania nor Shoaib has commented on the matter yet and the fans are waiting for an official word regarding the couple’s future. Sania lives in India while Shoaib resides in Pakistan. He was part of a star-studded expert panel during the 2022 T20 World Cup for a TV channel. The Pakistan legend hasn’t retired from international cricket.
Sania and Shoaib had tied the knot in 2010. Speaking to Pakpassion.net in 2020, Shoaib had said that the strained relation between India and Pakistan wasn’t an issue for them.
“No, not at all. In a marriage, you don’t concern yourself with where your partner is from or what is going on between the countries or in politics. That is not our domain. If you love someone and get married to that person that should be all that matters, regardless of which country you come from. On a wider point, I have many friends who are Indian and I don’t find anything strained because of the relationship between the two countries. I am a cricketer, not a politician,” he said.Sania and Shoaib were blessed with a baby boy in 2018. The tennis star returned to the sport in January 2020. Sania announced her retirement earlier in the year but the plans changed after she was forced to pull out of US Open.
