It is known to all that Tollywood’s ace actress Samantha Akkineni is making her digital debut with Manoj Bajpayee’s The Family Man 2 web series. We have witnessed her scintillating acting skills many times on the big screens and when it comes to female-oriented movies like Oh Baby and U-Turn, she impressed the audience with all her awesome screen presence.
But coming to The Family Man 2, which is an Amazon Prime Original show, Samantha is roped in to play the antagonist role. Yes! She will be seen as the deadly suicide bomber and throw a challenge to officer Manoj Bajpayee with her deadly plans. She enters the country with the aim to attack popular places with bombs and kill thousands of people.
In an interaction with Bollywood Hungama, she was asked why it took her so long to sign a Bollywood movie. She said, “Because maybe I am scared? (laughs) The talent here is amazing. I am scared”.
Well, when asked about whom will she like to share the screen space in Bollywood, she immediately replied ‘Ranbir Kapoor’.
Along with Manoj Bajpayee and Samantha, Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Seema Biswas, Darshan Kumar, Sharad Kelkar, Sunny Hinduja, Shreya Dhanwantary, Shahab Ali, Vedant Sinha, and Mahek Thakur, Mime Gopi, Ravindra Vijay, Devadarshini Chetan, Anandsami and N. Alagamperumal are the part of this web series.
In the recently released trailer, Samantha impressed all her fans with her complete de-glamour look and stunned them with her complete transformation.
The Family Man 2 show is being directed by Raj & DK and is produced by them under the D2R Films banner. It will be aired on Amazon Prime from June 4, 2021.
Coming to the Shaakuntalam movie, it is being directed by Gunasekhar and stars Dev Mohan as King Dushyant. This movie is being produced by Dil Raju and Neelima Guna under the Dil Raju Productions and Guna Team Works banner.
Well, Samantha will also be part of Kollywood’s ace actress Nayanthara’s Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal movie. Along with Samantha and Nayanthara, even Vijay Sethupathi will also be seen in an important role. The movie is also produced by Nayanthara in collaboration with Lalit Kumar under her own production house Rowdy Pictures and Seven Screen Studios banners.
