Aneet Padda who has shot to overnight fame in Mohit Suri-Yashraj Films’ Saiyaara will next be seen next in a series Nyaya produced by Sameer Nair and Applause Entertainment, and also starring Fatima Sana Shaikh, Mohammed, Zeeshan Ayyub, Raghubir Yadav and Rajesh Sharma.
According to sources, Yashraj is not too happy with their overnight sensation being seen on the digital domain.
However Yash Raj Films and Aditya Chopra can rest easy. The buzz around the series Nyaya is excellent.
A source close to Applause Entertainment informs me that Nyaya will take the Saiyaara actress notches above Saiyaara. “Sameer Nair of Applause Entertainment spotted Aneet Padda’s potential much before Saiyaara. She has been cast in a pivotal role in Nyaya. And the girl is every bit as confident in the series as she is in Saiyaara.How does the size of the screen matter, and who was to know that destiny had these plans for Aneet?”
Multiple sources confirm that Aneet Padda’s debut on the streaming platform makes no difference to Yash Raj’s plans for the young actress.
In fact Aditya Chopra is so confident of Aneet Padda’s talent that he has named her Vaani in Saiyaara after Yash Raj’s favourite actress Vaani Kapoor.
