RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) chief Mohan Bhagwat has again made a statement in the form of an appeal to Hindu families on Tuesday. He has asked Hindu families to have at least three children. While speaking at a social harmony event, Mohan Bhagwat said that while there is “no threat,” all Hindus must remember the real purpose of marriage.
Moreover, he shared his views and said that societies with an average fertility rate of less than three children could disappear in the future. On this basis, the RSS chief called on Hindu families to have at least three children.
Know the true purpose of marriage
He also said that newly married couples should be made aware that the true purpose of marriage is to carry forward creation, instead of merely fulfilling their own wishes.
Mohan Bhagwat again made an appeal for uniting and empowering Hindu society, while saying that there is no threat, but vigilance is necessary. “There is a need to unite and empower Hindus. There is no threat to us, but vigilance is necessary,” said the RSS chief.
Addressing the meeting at Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Bhagwat expressed concern over a “declining Hindu population” and said that inducement- or coercion-based religious conversions should be stopped.
3-D policy for the infiltrators
The RSS chief reiterated the same 3D policy for infiltrators and called for their deportation once identified. He said that such people should be “detected, deleted, and deported.”
While speaking about Hindu unity and the need for Hindu families to have at least three children, Mohan Bhagwat also focused on women’s empowerment. He explained how “matrushakti” (women power) is the foundation of any household. He also added that women should not be seen as weak and should receive training for self-defence.
Moreover, he added that in Indian tradition, women have a revered place and that values emphasize nurturing qualities over physical appearance.
