Rohit Sharma completed his 30th ODI ton in the 3rd ODI between India and New Zealand at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. Rohit reached the milestone in just 82 balls as India made a stunning start after New Zealand won the toss and chose to field first with the opening pair putting a partnership in excess of 200 runs. Shubman Gill is also closing in on a century.
With the milestone, Rohit now has 30 ODI centuries to his name. This sees him go joint third on the list of players with most tons in ODI cricket history alongside Ricky Ponting, who also had 30 ODI tons. Rohit is only behind Sachin Tendulkar (50), and Virat Kohli (46) among the list of players with the most tons in the 50-over format in history.

Rohit holds the record for the most double tons in ODI cricket history with three 200+ scores to his name. He is the only player in the world to reach the milestone on five different occasions.
While the three-figures scores were not coming, Rohit looked in fine form in recent days and scored a half-century against Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and also the 2nd ODI against New Zealand.
India have already won the series having taken a 2-0 lead and are looking to complete a whitewash.
