Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor became proud parents of a baby girl today (November 6). The actress announced the arrival of her daughter on Instagram with a sweet post. The Kapoor family members must be on cloud nine as they recently experienced the happiest moment in their lives after a long time.
For the unversed, Ranbir Kapoor’s father Rishi Kapoor passed away in May 2020. His actor-brother Rajiv Kapoor too passed away in February 2021 due to a heart attack. Kapoor family has gone through a very tough phase. Hence, Ranbir-Alia’s baby girl must have brought happiness into the family
Amidst all, Rishi Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor’s elder brother-actor Randhir Kapoor recently interacted with ETimes and got emotional while interacting with the portal. He remembered his late brother Rishi Kapoor and said, “Alia and Ranbir have brought us immense happiness. They are our children and we love them very dearly. I am very happy that they have been blessed with a daughter. My love and blessings to Ranbir and Alia. My brother Rishi Kapoor must be delighted in heaven. We Kapoors want everyone to be happy.”
For the unversed, Rishi Kapoor wanted to witness Ranbir Kapoor’s marriage. Unfortunately, he couldn’t get a chance to witness it as he passed away in 2020 due to cancer. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt got married on April 14, 2022, in Mumbai. They have shared screen space in the film Brahmastra, which was released in September 2022.
