Brahmastra: Part One Shiva is undoubtedly one of the most awaited films of the year. The long in the making Ayan Mukerji directorial stars Bollywood power couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. Moreover, it is the interesting assortment of mythology and sci-fi genres that has created quite the hype. To add to that, the visuals of the movie are simply breathtaking.
Days before the release of Brahmastra: Part One Shiva, director Ayan Mukerji decided to add to the excitement and shared a new promo of the film. It features Ranbir’s character Shiva. “Tujhme agni astra ki taaqat hai, kaun hai tu (You have the power of the fire Atra within you. Who are you?),” a voice can be heard saying.
Sharing it, the filmmaker wrote, “10 DAYS TO GO! Can’t believe we only have 10 days to go before Brahmāstra releases. All these years, Brahmāstra has belonged mainly to me and to the core team around me… But from September 9th – it will belong more to the audiences who experience it and hopefully appreciate it ! Very emotional, nervous, exciting, non-stop work days as we prepare to let Brahmāstra go out fully into this World! “
Other than the stunning visual, what also caught everyone’s attention was the voice in the promo. While it is purportedly a dialogue of actress Mounii Roy’s character in the film, netizens believe that it is Deepika Padukone’s voice. Yes, you heard that right!
Hours after the video was shared by Ayan, several Instagram users took to the comments section to speculate and even tagged the actress to confirm.
Rumours of Deepika’s special cameo in the Ranbir-Alia film have been in the air for quite some time. However, the makers have neither confirmed nor denied the speculations.
