Ranbir Kapoor not in favour of remaking films, picks THIS Rishi Kapoor film if he had to be a part of one

Ranbir Kapoor is back with another rom-com that has definitely gotten everyone talking, the Luv Ranjan directorial, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. The film’s trailer has been received well and the songs that have followed have all also been a hit. Interestingly, Ranbir is among the few actors who has not been a part of remakes so far, and we asked him if he’d ever say yes to one

At a time where remakes are all the rage and in fashion, Times Now Digital quizzed Ranbir at an interaction as to what does he feel about them, and if he had to pick a film he were to be a part of, which one would it be

Says Ranbir, “I think very early on in my career also, I was very against remaking a film, even remaking a song. I remember that one song I did, Bachne Ae Haseeno, I also had a little issue but I was also very new at that time, I didn’t have a say into it. I believe I am in a position where I can create original content, I always believe that if there is a film that has been made, it has been made to the best abilities and it is very hard to kind of recreate it and do a better version of it.”

He still went ahead and gave us three films he would be a part of, if they were to be remade. He added, “If I had to choose a film if it was remade, I really like Anthony’s part in Amar Akbar Anthony, I think that’s very interesting. I really like my father’s work in a film called Zamaane Ko Dikhana Hai, a film that did not work. I also like Shree 420.”Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar releases this Holi
The advance bookings for the film have now opened up and so far, they look just about decent. The film sees Ranbir and Shraddha come together for the first time, and so far, so good, we’d say.
