Veteran filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has delivered some cult cinemas in his career like Shiva, Satya, Company, Bhoot, Rangeela, and others. But in recent times, the director has grabbed our attention for his controversial statement and tweets. However, his recent tweet on the Omicron virus with a connect SS Rajamouli’s RRR has amazed fans as they found it sensible.
In his recent tweet, RGV shared a suggestion to the government amidst the rising crisis of Omicron as tweeted, “I have a GREAT idea for the GOVERNMENT regarding OMICRON…They should not allow anyone into #RRR theatres unless they show proof of DOUBLE DOSE ..The DESIRE to see #RRR will CONQUER the CARELESSNESS of the PEOPLE.”
Commenting on RGV’s tweet, a user wrote, ‘For the very first time u spoke which makes sense,’ while another commented, ‘That’s actually good idea.’ Another fan wrote, “For the very first time u spoke which makes sense I hope all state government follows this not only for movies but for malls and mass gatherings #lockdown #RRRMovie.”
Talking about RRR, which is set to hit the screens on January 7, 2022, will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada, English, Portuguese, Korean, Turkish and Spanish languages across the globe. RRR narrates the fictional story of two revolutionaries named Allu Sita Ramaraju and Komaram Bheem played by Ram Charan and Jr NTR respectively. The film has been extensively shot across Indian with few sequences in Ukraine and Bulgaria.
Apart from the leading duo, the period action drama also features the stellar star cast of Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris while Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson and Shriya Saran. The music of the film is composed by MM Keeravani while the camera is cranked by K.K. Senthil Kumar.
The film is made on a lavish budget of Rs 350 crore and is produced by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainment. The story of RRR is written by SS Rajamouli’s father KV Vijayendra Prasad, who previously penned films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Baahubali, Thalaivii, Manikarnika and many others.
The film marks the second collaboration between SS Rajamouli and Ram Charan after Magadheera. On the other hand, Jr NTR and SS Rajamouli have earlier worked together in films like Student No. 1, Simhadri and Yamadonga.
