After bagging the Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards, RRR won big at the Hollywood Critics Association Awards just weeks before the Oscars! While many netizens are hoping that the SS Rajamouli directorial brings home the prestigious academy award after its sweep at the HCAA, the film’s star Ram Charan has another desire in mind.
Ram Charan on performing Naatu Naatu at the Oscars
With The Academy confirming that Rihanna would be performing her Oscar-nominated song Lift Me Up from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Hollywood actress Sofia Carson revealing that she would be joining Diane to perform the Tell It Like a Woman’s Applause, Ram Charan has also expressed his desire to take the stage on March 12 during the coveted award ceremony.
Sharing that he would love to do Naatu Naatu anywhere that the song and the team was being appreciated, no matter how difficult the choreography was, the actor said, “Not every place accommodates us to perform. But if we’re at the Oscars and there’s a request, and there’s time, why not? We’ll be more than happy to entertain our audience, who have given us so much. To do the whole number on the stage would be difficult, as it takes a lot of breath and energy. But the hook step. Why not!”
