Ram Charan is currently on cloud nine as his blockbuster pan-India film RRR is being honoured at the prestigious award ceremony in the world, the Academy Awards aka Oscars. The SS Rajamouli directorial’s Naatu Naatu song has been shortlisted for the 95th Academy Awards’ Music (Original Song) category. Well, it is indeed a proud moment for every Indian, as it has become the first Indian song to be shortlisted at the Oscars.
Ram Charan reacts to RRR’s achievement
Ram Charan took to Twitter and shared his happiness with a special poster. He called it a ‘historic moment’ and congratulated SS Rajamouli and music composer MM Keeravani.
Charan tweeted, “What a historic moment for the entire Indian Film Industry… Couldn’t be more honoured to note that #NaatuNaatu becomes the first Indian song to be shortlisted for the Academy Awards! @ssrajamouli garu and @mmkeeravaani garu, it’s all your vision and magic.. #RRRForOscars.”

RRR’s song Naatu Naatu received a positive response from the masses across the world. Its Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam versions were loved by all. Especially, Ram Charan and Jr NTR’s killer dance moves were the best.
The dance number was choreographed by Prem Rakshith. The song was extensively shot in Ukraine. Talking about RRR, the film is one of the biggest pan-India successes in India.
