Actor Raj Anadkat, who played the role of Tipendra Gada aka Tapu in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has officially announced his exit from the SAB TV show. The handsome actor shared a note on his Instagram handle, in which he thanked fans and co-stars for accepting him with open arms.
RAJ ANADKAT’S ANNOUNCEMENT
In a note shared by Raj Anadkat on Instagram, the actor said, “Hello everyone, it’s time to lay all questions and speculation to rest. My association with Neela Film Productions and ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah‘ has officially ended. It has been a wonderful journey of learning, making friends and having some of the best years of my career. I would like to thank everyone who supported me in this journey. The entire team of TMKOC, my friends, family and of course all of you. Everyone who welcomed me into the show and loved me as ‘Tapu’, your love for my craft has always pushed me to give my best to each and everyone of you, every single time. I wish the team of TMKOC all the very best for the future of the show.”
Raj was a replacement for Bhavya Gandhi, who played Tapu in the show. After Raj’s exit, fans are eager to know who will be the new Tapu of the show.
Talking about Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the show also stars Dilip Joshi, Amit Bhatt, Mandar Chandvadkar, Ambika R, Munmun Dutta, Sonalika Joshi and others in key roles. It was started in July 2008 on SAB TV.
