The wait for Pushpa 2 seems to be never ending as it has already been three years since the first instalment of Allu Arjun-Fahadh Faasil starrer released in theatres. However, there is a good news for fans. As per a report by India Herald, the makers are planning to release the first trailer on November 15 or 16. The film will hit the screens on December 6, three weeks after the trailer release.
The decision has been taken by director Sukumar, lead actor Allu Arjun and Mythri Production to create buzz around the film. Hence, the three-week time will allow the team to carry out campaigns and promote the much-awaited film, shared the media sources of India Herald.
Trade expert Ramesh Bala shares with us exclusively that no date has been officially announced yet, but the trailer is likely to release in mid November. “It’s a norm in South. Makers choose to release the trailer approximately 3 weeks prior to the film’s release,” he shares.
The film was earlier scheduled to release on August 15 but got delayed due to unfinished shooting and necessary post-production work. Several reports also hinted at a fight between Allu and Sukumar owing to the creative differences.
“Makers are done with the first part and the second half of the shooting is underway. So we can hope the film to release on the tentative date – December 6. The final scenes of the film will also lay groundwork for Pushpa 3. That’s why, Sukumar as well as Allu Arjun is very mindful of what they offer in Pushpa 2,” share our source close to the production house.
