Priyanka Chopra hails garu SS Rajamouli, RRR Team on ‘amazing win for Indian cinema’ at Golden Globes 2023

With high-octane action sequences to stunning dance moves, RRR broke a plethora of records and today is no different. The Telugu epic period drama RRR bagged its first Golden Globe Award on Wednesday (January 11) in Los Angeles. Everyone is on cloud nine as we are celebrating their big win. The film won the Best Original Song award for the song Naatu Naatu and composer MM Keeravaani took the stage to receive the award.
Ever since several celebrities from all over the world is congratulating and poured immense love on the team. And, the latest diva to join the celebration is none other than our all-time favourite and stunning Priyanka Chopra.
Taking to her Instagram, The Sky Is Pink actress congratulated the RRR Team as she shared the video of them winning the awards at the event. She captioned, “Congratulates Team RRR!! @ssrajamouli garu @mmkeeravani garu, @alwaysramcharan @jrntr @aliaabhatt… first ever Asian movie to win a @goldenglobes for a song! Amazing win for Indian cinema!”
Apart from our Desi Girl, Chiranjeevi too congratulated the team and wrote, “What a Phenomenal, Historic Achievement !!!! Golden Globes Best Original Song – Motion Picture Award to @mmkeeravaani garu !! Take a Bow! Heartiest Congratulations Team @RRRMovie & @ssrajamouli!! India is proud of you! 🎉🎉 #NaatuNaatu 🕺🕺.”
Big B also laud the teamand wishes the RRR team for their big win at the 80th Golden Globe Awards. He wrote, “Congratulations RRR, for winning the Golden Globe Award .. a most well-deserving achievement !!”
Starring superstar Ram Charan and Jr NTR in lead roles, the movie has gone on to become quite a global phenomenon. And behind all of this, there’s one magician director SS Rajamouli.
However, the drama film RRR was nominated in two categories at the Golden Globe Awards. While it won The Best Original Song award, they lost out on the Best Non-English Language Film category To Argentina 1985.
