PM Narendra Modi’s BIG Diwali gift for India- 75,000 jobs for youth; details here

 Diwali is approaching and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has plans for the country. This Diwali, PM Modi has a special gift for the youth of India- 75,000 jobs. As the Centre continues to get targeted by the opposition parties for the rising unemployment rate and inflation, PM Modi will interact with the youngsters via video conferencing on Saturday and will hand over jobs to them.
As per the media reports, at least 75,000 job appointment letters will be handed over to the youngsters during the virtual event as PM Modi will address them. The job will be affiliated with various ministries and government departments.
This comes after Prime Minister, earlier this year announced that 10 lakh jobs will be created and handed over to the youth in the next 18 months.
The prime minister has been facing backlash from several groups and opposition parties for the rising unemployment and the country with many calling him out on his poll promise of job creation.
Rahul Gandhi recently hit out at PM and called his job creation promise a “maha jumla. Addressing the media during his Bharat Jodo Yatra, Gandhi raised questions about delays in the recruitment process and the rise in I unemployment rate.

Diwali job mela: PM Modi to offer jobs in these departments

As per media reports, the 75,000 jobs that PM Modi will be handing over before Diwali will be allocated to the Defence Ministry, Railway Ministry, post department, Home Ministry, Labour and Employment Ministry, Central Industrial Security Force, Central Bureau of Investigation, customs, and banking, among others.

Union Ministers to join PM Modi

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Heavy Industries Minister Mahendra Pandey, Minister of Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda, and Minister of Panchayati Raj Giriraj Singh will join the PM for the Diwali job celebration.
