Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave an early Holi gift to crores of farmers eligible to receive financial aid under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme (PM-KISAN) scheme. PM Modi released 13th instalment of over Rs 16,000 crore under PM-KISAN scheme in Karnataka’s Belagavi.
“All farmers of India have been connected with Belagavi here today, crores of farmers have been credited with over Rs 16,000 crore from here. This instalment is a greeting of Holi,” PM Modi said.
Under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, we transferred over Rs 2.5 lakh crore to the bank account of farmers in the country. Especially, more than Rs 50,000 crore has been credited to the women farmers, he added further
Under the latest instalment, Rs 2,000 each will be deposited in the bank accounts of eligible farmers, benefitting over 8 crore beneficiaries. The 11th and 12th installments under the Scheme were given in May and October last year.
It is worth noting that eKYC is mandatory for PM KISAN Registered Farmers to receive the Rs 2,000 financial aid under the scheme.

Step 1: Visit the official website of PM KISAN Scheme – https://pmkisan.gov.in.
Step 2: Scroll down to find the ‘Farmers Corner’ section on the homepage.
Step 3: Click on the Beneficiaries List option.
Step 4: Select State, District, Sub District, Block, and Village from the drop-down list.
Step 5: Now, click on ‘Get Report’.
Step 6: The complete list of beneficiaries will appear, in which you can check your name.
How to check PM KISAN scheme status online?
To check the beneficiary status online, you can follow the below-given steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of PM Kisan Yojana – https://pmkisan.gov.in.
Step 2: Find the option of ‘Farmers Corner’, available on the homepage.
Step 3: Within the Farmers Corner section, click on the Beneficiaries Status option.
Step 4: You can either search by Mobile Number or Registration Number.
Step 5: Enter either one of the entries and Captcha.
Step 6: Click on ‘Get Data’.
PM KISAN Scheme
Launched four years ago on February 24, 2019, the PM KISAN scheme provides all landholding farmers’ families the financial benefit of Rs 6,000 per annum per family payable in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each, every four months.
The financial benefit under the scheme is directly credited into the bank accounts of beneficiaries.
