Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has entered the world of reality shows with Lock Upp. The actress, who has turned host for Ekta Kapoor’s show, had a stern reaction to some of Payal Rohatgi’s remarks ahead of her entry as a participant on the show.

It so happened that Payal was asked as to why she is working in a show on ALT Balaji when she had previously criticised the platform. To this, Payal said that her personal opinions can be different from professional ones, and cited Kangana and Ekta’s example. She said that Kangana, who is the host of the show, has a difference of opinion with Ekta but is still headlining her new show.

Immediately reacting to this, Kangana said: “Do not piggy back on me. Talk about your own experiences, do not use my past experiences. Do not take my name.” Payal, however, clarified that if there would have been someone else in front of her, she would have taken their name.

Kangana insisted that she just proved her allegations right, adding that Payal would still not talk about her own experiences. Reacting to this, Payal said that Kangana “piggy backs” on Alia Bhatt’s name for attention.

“Why then do you use others’ names? I can also say that you piggy back on Alia Bhatt’s name and (are using) Gangubai Kathiwadi for the sake of grabbing attention,” she said. The Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi actress reacted to Payal’s remark and said: “Do not talk about me, I create my own controversies, that is my opinion about them.”
