Mehreen Pirzada, known for starring in Telugu and Tamil films, has called off her engagement with Bhavya Bishnoi. The actress took to social media and shared an official note announcing breaking off the engagement after 4 months. The couple had kick-started their wedding festivities a while back in Jaipur. However, things may have not stayed the same.
In her note, Mehreen asked people to give her privacy during this time but promised to continue with her work and future projects. She wrote, “Bhavya Bishnoi and I have decided to break off our engagement and not go ahead with the wedding. It’s a decision that has been taken amicably and in the best interest.”
She added that in the future, she doesn’t want any association with the Bishnoi family. “With respect in my heart I would like to say that from now on I have no further association with Bhavya Bishnoi, any of his family members or friends,” the note read.
The actress penned that she would be unavailable to talk about her breakup and that this statement would be the only announcement about it. “This is the only statement I will be making regarding this and I hope that everyone respects my privacy as this is a very private matter. Meanwhile I will continue to work and am looking forward to giving my best in my futur projects and performances (sic),” she ended her note.
In March, Mehreen’s brother Gurfateh Singh Pirzada had shared several photos of the wedding festivities. For the unversed, Bhavya Bishnoi is s a popular youth leader, the son of politician heavyweight Kuldeep Bishnoi and the grandson of former Haryana CM late Bhajan Lal.
Meanwhile, Mehreen made her debut in Hindi cinema with Phillauri, co-starring Anushka Sharma, Diljit Dosanjh, and Suraj Sharma, in 2017. She then made her Telugu debut with Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha, which also Nani in the lead role. She was last seen in Ramana Teja’s Aswathama. The film also starred Naga Shourya and produced by Mulpuri under Ira Creations banner.
The actress will be seen in the upcoming Telugu movie F3: Fun and Frustration, which is being directed by Anil Ravipudi. The film will star Venkatesh, Varun Tej, and Tamannaah. It is set to release on August 27, 2021.
The actress also features in several Tamil films. She was last seen in Dhanush’s Pattas, alongside Sneha and Naveen Chandra. The movie had released in January 2020.
