Pathaan to collect Rs 300 crore worldwide?
Shah Rukh Khan has been one of the most bankable stars in the industry. Sadly, some previous films of him couldn’t work well at the box office. After four years, he has made a comeback on the big screen with Pathaan. Hence, fans are celebrating this moment like a festival.
When asked about Pathaan’s first-weekend box office prediction, Girish Johar said, “Opening trending is very wide. It’s a fantastic start. It is one of the highest-trending of the non-holiday release. Numbers are yet to come. I am expecting Rs 40 crore plus on day 1 as of now. Evening and late-night shows’ numbers are yet to come.”
“Pathaan is expected to make big numbers on January 26 (Republic Day holiday). I am expecting the Shah Rukh Khan film would collect Rs 300 crore worldwide in the first five days (first weekend),” the film business expert added.
SRK’s Pathaan to collect Rs 200 crore gross in India in the first weekend?
While speaking about the domestic box office, Girish said, “I feel Pathaan could mint Rs 200 crore gross in India. I also expect Rs 100 crore from overseas in the first extended weekend.”
Looks like, Pathaan will surely break several records at the box office. Talking about the SRK-starrer, it also stars Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles. Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan was released in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil in more than 100 countries.
