The Australian skipper Pat Cummins is ready to unleash his all strengths against the visiting India in the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 which is scheduled from November 22.
Cummins also expects a fierce battle between the two sides at the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
The Australian skipper also feels it will be a 50-50 competition. ‘It’s always fiercely competitive, and it always feels like it’s 50-50. I’m 10 out of 10 excited for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy,’ he added.
Cummins also describes about the last two Test series against India on Australian soil. ‘The last two series here in Australia, we haven’t been successful, so it’s been a long time. Hopefully, it’s time to make amends. You know, we’ve played them plenty of times where they’ve beaten us, but we’ve also had plenty of wins against them as well, which we’ll draw confidence from,’ Cummins further said.
India currently reigning champions of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, having won the last home and away series. Australia last won the trophy in 2014-15.
