Tollywood star Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is celebrating his 43rd birthday on July 5. The actor is known for films such as Asadhyudu, Vijayadasami, Pataas, Lakshmi Kalyanam and MLA among others. Now, on the occasion of his birthday, the makers of Kalyan Ram’s next film that will be presented by KV Guhan have officially launched the film.
The Pataas actor is all set to collaborate with director KV Guhan after the hit film 118. The actor-director duo is excited to recreate the same magic with the tentatively titled NKR20. Bankrolled by producer Dil Raju and Shirish under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, the film is said to be a crime thriller.
The makers of the film took to their Twitter handle and made a special announcement. They wrote, “Wishing @NandamuriKalyan a very Happy Birthday! Happy to announce our film with him. We are bringing back the hit combination of @NandamuriKalyan & @KVGuhan with #NKR20 More updates soon. @SVC_Official #HappyBirthdayNKR(Sic).”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kalyan Ram is currently working on the epic periodic drama Bimbisara directed by Mallidi Vashist. Catherine Tresa and Samyuktha Menon will be sharing screen space with Kalyan Ram in the film. The flick is produced under the NTR Arts banner. Bimbisara’s technical crew includes cinematographer Chota K Naidu, music director Chirantan Bhatt, editor Tammiraju, and art director Kiran Kumar Manne.
Kalyan Ram is also working on an untitled movie under the Mythri Movie Makers banner, directed by Rajendra Reddy, which is tentatively titled NKR19. Ghibran is the music composer and Soundar Rajan is the cinematographer.
The actor was last seen in Entha Manchivaadavuraa, which was directed by Satish Vegesna. The family entertainer has Mehreen Pirzada in the female lead. The film also has Sarath Babu and Vijayakumar in pivotal roles. Tanikella Bharani played the father of Kalyanram in the movie.
