War 2, directed  by  Ayan Mukerji featuring Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan in the lead, is Yash Raj Films’ big spectacle releasing in August.

After the surprise success of Yash Raj’s Saiyaara, the production house has decided to change its promotional strategy for War 2.

NTRJr won’t be promoting the film extensively as per prior plan. Neither will Hrithik.

A source in the know informs me, “Saiyaara  proves there is no need   for widespread  promotion for  a film to  do well. Hence for their next release, War 2 the two principal  stars won’t  promote the film  outside their home territory: NTR in Hyderabad and Hrithik in Mumbai. The  product will do most of  the talking when  released on 14 August.”
