Anurag Kashyap has donned the director’s hat again and is gearing up to return to the big screen with his movie, Nishaanchi. The movie is promised to be a masala entertainer set in a small town and will be a mix humour, romance, and action. The movie is headlined by debutant Aaishvary Thackeray, who will play a double role alongside Vedika Pinto.
Sharing the teaser, the makers wrote in the caption, “Tayyari kar di hai! Emosan ka tadka, actsan ka dhamaka, aur gulel, katta, gaadi, ghoda toh hai hi bhaiya.”
The teaser introduces the viewers to Babloo, a flamboyant local hero with swagger to spare, and his lover, Rinku. But things change when Dabloo, a sanskaari beta, enters their lives. Other characters played by Monika Panwar, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Kumud Mishra will add more drama to this story.
The viewers are looking forward to seeing Anyeag Kashyap’s magic on the big screen again. Many fans also got the vibes of ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’ from the teaser of ‘Nishaanchi’.

Produced by Ajay Rai and Ranjan Singh under Jar Pictures, in association with Flip Films, the movie is written by Prasoon Mishra, Ranjan Chandel and Anurag Kashyap. ‘Nishaanchi’ is scheduled to release in theatres in India on September 19, 2025.
