Nestle quarterly results 2023 earnings: Check Q4CY22 net profit, dividend and other financial details

 Nestle India Limited, one the biggest players in the FMCG segment, declared its Q4 Calendar Year 2022 earnings today i.e. on Thursday (February 16, 2023). Nestle India, which is the last among the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company to report its quarterly numbers, reported a net profit of Rs 628 crore in the fourth quarter of CY22 (Q4CY22), an increase of 66% year-on-year (YoY), as against Rs 379 crore in the same quarter in the corresponding year.

Total sales and Domestic sales for the year increased by 14.5% and 14.8% respectively. Domestic sales growth was broad based with a healthy balance of pricing and volume. Export sales increased by 8.2 % for the full year. Total sales and Domestic sales for the quarter increased by 14.0% and 13.8%, respectively. Domestic sales growth was broad based. Export sales for the quarter increased by 17.1%,” Nestle India said in the BSE exchange filing.

The revenue from operations rose to Rs 4,257 crore, up 13.5 percent as compared to Rs 3,748 crore in the year-ago period, the company stated.

Nestle India’s Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend of Rs 75 per equity for the year 2022.
“The Board of Directors have recommended a final dividend for 2022 of INR 75.00 per equity share (Face value INR 10/Ͳper equity share) amounting to INR 7231.2 million. The total dividend for 2022 aggregates to INR 220.00 per equity share which includes first interim dividend of INR 25.00 per equity share paid on and from 6 May 2022; and second interim dividend of INR 120.00 per equity share paid on and from 16 November 2022. The final dividend for 2022 is subject to approval by the Members at the ensuing Annual General Meeting of the Company and therefore has not been recognised as a liability as at the balance sheet date in line with IndͲAS 10 on “Events after the Reporting Period”,” the company said in a BSE exchange filing.
