Michael Bracewell’s lazy running costs him his wicket, NZ star run-out despite being in the crease

Michael Bracewell, the New Zealand all-rounder, was run out in an upsetting manner on day 4 of the second Test against England on Monday (February 27) at Basin Reserve in Wellington.

Ben Stokes chased down the ball in midwicket and threw it to English wicketkeeper Ben Foakes.Initially, the wicketkeeper didn’t attempt to run out Michael, but after finding him casual while running, Foakes took his chances and bailed off the Kiwi batsman.
Even though Bracewell was past the crease, his bat and foot were in the air. After the third umpire had a look, Michael Bracewell had to depart after scoring 8 runs from 19 balls on day four of the second test against England.
