After the Wolves vs Man United game as per the report published by Daily Express, Arsenal could offer five players to get Matheus Cunha in the club. After being impressed by the versatility in attacking role like attacking midfielder, supporting striker and center forward against Manchester United and giving the lead to the Wolves by 1-0 shown by him.
Here is the list of players who might be the players transferred by Arsenal:
- Gabriel Jesus-
The Brazilian forward could on the list as he might be a natural fit at Molineux stadium and Wolves have a strong connection with Portuguese-speaking players. Matheus Cunha has already stepped into Gabriel Jesus’ role at the international level and could potentially take his spot at Arsenal. Meanwhile, Jesus has recently found form, scoring five goals in a week across cup and Premier League matches against Crystal Palace. At Wolves, he would likely thrive as the team’s focal point.
- 2. Raheem Sterling-
Arsenal might need Chelsea’s cooperation to facilitate a move that would send Raheem Sterling to Wolves. The on loan forward has struggled for playing time since joining from West London this summer. Although currently he is side-lined due to an injury, the former England international appears to be destined to remain out of favour. Arsenal could negotiate a deal for Sterling to return to Chelsea before being transferred to Wolves. Offloading a high-wage player would help clear the way for Cunha’s potential arrival.
- 3. Ethan Nwaneri-
Arsenal might think the young star to be one of the options who they can send to Wolves on loan in exchange for Cunha’s. Ethan Nwaneri, who has had a breakthrough year with Gunners, could gain valuable experience with more consistent game time at a different Premier League Club. However, with Saka sidelined due to a hamstring injury, the 17-year-old might play a more prominent role in Mikel Arteta’s squad in the future.
4. Leandro Trossard-
Leandro Trossard’s inconsistency might have caused an issue for Arsenal and put him on a radar to exchange him with Cunha as neither him nor Gabriel Martinelli managed to fill the void left by Saka’s absence. Selling the Belgian to create room for Cunha could be a logical move. Trossard thrived as a key player at Brighton, and he could assume a similar role at Wolves if he were to join the Midlands club.
- 5. Myles Lewis-Skelly-
Myles Lewis-Skelly also looks ready for further Premier League involvements and will be able of to play at left back and in midfield. So Arsenal might think the 18-year-old would be a great addition for the Wolves.
