Mamata Banerjee stole their jobs and now oppressing them: BJP’s Amit Malviya lashes out at TMC govt

BJP IT Cell in-charge Amit Malviya  lashed out at West Bengal Chief Minister and BJP critic Mamata Banerjee for the recent teacher recruitment scam in her state, accusing her of stealing jobs from the youth and using force on the protestors who have been demonstrating against the recruitment irregularities. Many of Mamata’s close aides and ministers are accused of being involved in the scam and there has been a severe backlash against the TMC government from the students.

“She stole their jobs, sold them to the highest bidder and now when Teacher Eligibility Test qualified candidates are protesting, she has unleashed oppressive state machinery. She is Mamata Banerjee, CM of West Bengal, who finds herself embroiled in a massive recruitment scam,” tweeted Malviya.

Crackdown against students

The Mamata Banerjee government has been facing flak for using official machinery to suppress the voice and oppress the protesters who have been demonstrating against the teacher’s recruitment scheme., a video of West Bengal police personnel dragging, beating and detaining the candidates who have qualified for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) and were protesting near the head office of West Bengal Board of Primary Education in Kolkata regarding job recruitment, surfaced online.
The video is being widely shared on social media. Section 144 of CrPC imposed has been imposed in the area.
BJP MP Saumitra Khan on Friday wrote to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan against the violent police action on TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) qualified candidates, who were protesting against the state government outside the education board’s office in Kolkata’s Salt Lake last night.
