There are a set of responsibilities, which people need to be ready for, before having a child. You need to balance home, work and at the same time, you have to think about your financial condition before planning a child. Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali are parents to a beautiful baby girl named Tara, who was born in 2019.
During an exclusive interview with Times Now Digital, the actress spoke about whether she and Jay had felt a financial crunch, after the birth of their daughter Tara. Mahhi revealed that a child does not ask for Gucci, as soon as he or she is born.
“I think bache paida hote hi Gucci, Armani nai mangte hai na. Wo tumhari marzi hai, tum kitna mehenga diaper pehnao, kitna sasta pehnao ya nanga rakho (I think a child does not ask for Gucci, Armani after birth. It is your wish if you wish to make a child wear an expensive, cheap diaper or you choose to keep your child naked),” she said.
Mahhi further mentioned, “Pehli baar kehte hai ki bacha apni kismat leke aata hai (A child brings his or her own destiny). Kabhi koi bacha bhuka nai marta (No child dies hungry). Secondly, we had planned everything before Tara came in. We had financially thought that we would take good take of our child. Ya, there are a lot of parents who think that main layak nai hu bacha karneka. Bacha tumhari bhi kismat leke aata hai (There are a lot of parents who think that they do not deserve to be parents)”.
The actress is often trolled for ignoring her foster kids Khushi Ray and Rajveer Ray. Naysayers on social media criticise Mahhi for preferring her biological daughter Tara over Khushi and Rajveer.
Mahhi spoke about being bothered by trolls. She said, “It used to bother me initially. But abhi bilkul bhi bother nai hota (I am not bothered) as I feel, ki wo log har kisi ke liye bura hi bolte hai (They say bad for everyone). I am not answerable to people. They do not have a face. They have fake accounts. I am answerable to my god, husband, parents. I am not answerable to them. They just do for attention. They are losers for me.”
Talking about her daughter Tara, Mahhi said that Tara’s entry, into their lives, has brought more happiness in her house. “Even if we go alone, we miss her. We feel that something is missing when we go out. So when she comes and joins us after her sleep, sab khush ho jate hai ki Tara aa gayi (everyone gets happy when Tara joins us),” she added.
The actress signed off by saying that the ‘full equation has changed’ after they welcomed their baby girl.
