Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor got married on Thursday in a private function that was held at the Vastu Building in Mumbai’s Bandra. Beautiful pictures of the Alia-Ranbir wedding ceremony have taken the internet by storm. On Friday, Alia’s step-sister Pooja Bhatta shared an emotional picture on her official Instagram handle.
In the picture, Alia’s father, Mahesh Bhatt, can be seen hugging his son-in-law, Ranbir Kapoor. Pooja also tagged Alia in the post. The picture has gone viral on social media. “Who needs words when one has the ability to listen & speak from the heart?”, Pooja captioned the image.
Notably, only close family members and friends were invited to the wedding ceremony. Apart from Ranbir’s cousins Kareen Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor, Akash and Shloka Ambani, Shweta Bachchan and her husband, Karan Johan, Ayan Mukherjee and Akansha Ranjan also attended the ceremony
Bollywood stars, including Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif, congratulated the newlywed couple. According to reports, Alia and Ranbir will be hosting an intimate get-together with their close industry friends and family on April 17. Earlier, there were reports that the couple will host a grand reception party. Notably, Alia and Ranbir dated for almost 4.5 years before getting married.
