Former Madhya Pradesh chief minister and senior Congress leader Kamal Nath openly threatened police officials and other state personnel.
while addressing a public event, Kamal Nath warned the government officers, saying that personnel should listen with open ears, that Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections will be held after eight months…Action will be taken accordingly.
Nath had stoked a similar kind of controversy in 2021 when he had openly threatened the government employees while addressing a gathering in Bhopal and alleged that some officials were working with “BJP badges”
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had reacted strongly to Nath’s ‘threatening’ message to state government officials.
In 2018, Kamal Nath had alleged that some government officials have secret affection for the BJP and also warned them of action if Congress is voted to power.

Kamal Nath, the MP Congress chief, accused the Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led BJP government failed to control migration and drought-related problems in the Bundelkhand region.
The Congress leader Nath dared Chouhan to come for a debate with him on development issues.
“I would like to ask CM Chouhan to come on stage and show a progress report to the people. I will show a report of the 15-month Congress government,” Nath said.
The Madhya Pradesh Congress chief also took a dig at Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, saying that the BJP leader has become “politically redundant” even in his stronghold Gwalior.
