‘Made In Heaven’ became one of the most critically acclaimed shows in India and had a good run with two seasons. As fans are eagerly waiting for the third season, Arjun Mathur, who plays Karan Mehra in the show, has shared a disappointing update. The actor revealed that ‘Made In Heaven’ will not return with the third season.

While speaking to The Indian Express, Arjun Mathur revealed ‘Made In Heaven’ will not return with its third season. He revealed, “That question, “When is Made in Heaven season 3 coming out?,” keeps cropping up even now. But ya, there’s no season 3.”

“I’d have loved if it was going for multiple seasons, but each season can’t take more than four-five years. So main ussey bahut jaldi buddha ho jaunga (I will get very old very fast like that). So yeah, it’s ended at two seasons,” he added.

The actor also talked about his experience of working with Rasika Duggal, who is set to star in ‘Lord Curzon Ki Haveli’.

He added, “Then she’s made to escape quietly, so our characters don’t even get to meet much. If at all, we only had crowd scenes. But yea, this was the first time. We’ve been aware of each other’s work for a long time, known each other off camera, and were dying to work together. So, I’m very grateful. In fact, Anshuman hooked me by saying Rasika is playing that character.”

The series also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Jim Sarbh, Shashank Arora, Kalki Koechlin, Shivani Raghuvanshi and Mona Singh. The plot focuses on Tara and Karan, who are two wedding planners in Delhi and are running an agency named Made in Heaven. Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti are the creators of the series and also wrote it with Alankrita Shrivastava.
