Love was in the air when wrestler Sangram Singh, who is engaged to reality show star Payal Rohtagi, entered Kangana Ranaut’s Lock Upp to surprise his lady love. Leaving everyone in awe, Sangram proposed to Payal for marriage and their adorable moments left viewers gushing over them. “Yeh Lock Upp khatam kar lo phir hum shaadi karenge,” he told Payal.
However, hours after the sweet proposal, an emotional Payal opened up about having fertility issues. The actress shared that they have been trying to conceive for almost five years but she “can’t have kids.” She also said that she told Sangram to marry a woman who can conceive, not her.
Sharing her ordeal, the former Bigg Boss contestant said, “I can’t have kids. Maine socha hum shaadi tab karenge, when I can get pregnant. So, I have to be fit mentally and physically, concentrate on acting and go on with life. It’s okay to not get pregnant. 4-5 saal se hum log try kar rahe hai, nhi ho raha. So now, Sangram has to figure it and I think he has figured it out that I can’t get pregnant.”
“Maine IVF kiya but it was not successful. Isliye main kehti hu kisi aur se shaadi karle- jo bache paida kar sake. Kabhi kabar main aisa bolti hu,” she added.
Payal went on share an advice and said, “To all the women out there. If you are in your 20s, please freeze your eggs. When you freeze your eggs, you can conceive a baby in 30s and mid 30s.”
The actress shared that she used to earlier feel that they should deal with the fertility issues and then tie the knot as she wanted Sangram to have kids. However, she now feels that they should get married as they love each other. “But now, I think we will get married as we love each other. Mera yaha tha ki main pregnant hu, tab main shaadi karu. I don’t want Sangram not to have kids,” she said.
