Lakadbaggha actress Ridhi Dogra says she tried a different career path BUT it brought her back to acting

Telly actress Ridhi Dogra finally made her big screen debut with the vigilante film Lakadbaggha. The actress says that she said yes to the film because it was about speaking up for animals and that the conviction in the story egged her on. For the unversed, Lakadbaggha is a Indian Hindi-language action thriller film produced by First Ray Films & directed by Victor Mukherjee and starring Anshuman Jha, Ridhi Dogra, Paresh Pahuja and Milind Soman. An animal vigilante film, it is set in Kolkata and sees Anshuman’s Arun Bakshi turn vigilante after his dog goes missing.
But acting is not the only thing Rishi has tried
In an exclusive interaction  Ridhi replied to a query asking her if she has ever questioned her decision to turn actor. The actress said, “Of course I have thought otherwise. A few years ago I tried to do other things. I took up this course in movement therapy and thought I should switch careers. I have done psychology honours and thought why not build on that. But that also brought me back to acting.”
On further prodding the actress, she revealed, “When we were doing experiments in that course, during one such episode, I started speaking about camera work and I realised I loved acting and love being able to perform.”
“I have wished otherwise, but it is not my wish, but rather self-doubt. However, it turns out that this was what was best for me,” the actress said.
Ridhi, on criticism
On asking her if she is deterred by criticism, Ridhi revealed, “I do not really take praise or criticism to heart. I take criticismconsturctively, unless someone is being vicious. I like to pick the good from the bad. It hurts, but then I try and work on what they say after taking the bitter pill in. The best thing for me is when fans say I deserve an award or accolade,” she signed off.
