With the IPL 2025 mega auction around the corner, player-transfer gossip is going full steam, and many credit KL Rahul with a top spot in this list. Though last year’s season of the IPL was not exactly a great one for Rahul or LSG – as much for the latter batting and the pressure of responsibility as the captain telling on him – his exit from the team has come up as an even more scorching topic of discussion lately.

The team owner reportedly had a fit over Rahul after a recent match, thus further fueling the rumors that he may leave the franchise. Adding more buzz to this chit-chat is Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) recent post on social media, which sparked conversations about possible moves for Rahul.

KL Rahul might shift to RCB, but the one in current form is looking at the Kanpur Test series. Though he has been below par in the first game, some explosive T20 skills have been shown by him during the first innings of the Kanpur Test wherein he accelerated to 68 off just 43 balls with 7 fours and 2 sixes while sharing another excellent alliance with Virat Kohli.

After his innings, Royal Challengers Bangalore shared a post of him on their social media account. After this post of RCB came out, now the reactions of the fans have also started coming. The discussion about Rahul joining RCB has started gaining momentum among the fans. Let us tell you, KL Rahul has already played for Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL. Rahul has played cricket for RCB from 2013 to 2016.
