Kim Seon Ho has been making headlines recently for all the reasons. But before the actor hit a career setback, the promising star had all the right things going on for him. While his former girlfriend may have accepted his apology, but it did not stop the star from being dropped from his upcoming projects, including his exit from 2 Days & 1 Night, KBS2’s show that he has been part of since 2019. Born on May, 8,1986, Kim Seon Ho is an only child and grew up in South Korea. The actor on the set of 2 Days & 1 Night, once had his report card showcased that revealed his desire to become a doctor when he was younger.
A traumatic childhood:
In Harper’s Bazaar’s 2019 interview with the actor, he revealed a very traumatic memory that left quite a mark on him. When he was much younger, his house was robbed and his mother ended up being stabbed while he hid under the bed. The incident ended up making him uneasy whenever someone stood behind him and he even mentioned feeling suffocated in crowded places. It was, however, attending acting classes that finally started healing him.
Debuted as an actor at 32:
As talented as the actor is, but did you know that he only passed the audion to star in a K-drama at the age of 32? Back in 2017, Kim Seon Ho starred in his first drama Good Manager as Chief Kim, starting his journey as a TV actor.
His break-out role:
Contrary to what you may know, Kim Seon Ho’s first tryst with giving us a second lead syndrome was not with Start-up. You may want to check him out in 100 Days My Prince for some major crushing on his loyal and upright character that helped the main lead aka EXO’s D.O get his girl.
EXO’s member D.O and the other cast members of 100 Days My Prince made a promise that if viewership ratings surpassed 10%, they would all dance as a group to celebrate. As soon as the show touched that, D.O kept his word and taught his co-stars how to groove along to his group’s hit song Growl.

People snore, kick and walk in their sleep, but Kim Seon Ho actually talks. The actor once revealed that he has a habit of saying out comic book characters and having conversations with himself while he sleeps.
Begged his girlfriend to stay:
While he may not be looking too good on the girlfriend front at this point, the actor in 2016 on SBS Power FM’s radio show, Park Sunyoung’s Cine Town had confessed having begged his girlfriend to stay with him after she broke up with him via text. When he was serving in the military, his then-girlfriend of 3 years broke up with him and even blocked him. Desperate for her to stay, the actor went over to her house and even knelt down in front of her.
