Nearly ten days after a pro-Khalistan gang threatened to attack the Narendra Modi stadium during the India-Australia test match, the same organisation issued a new threat , TOI reported.
It threatened to teach the country’s top leaders a lesson and also challenged Gujarat police in the new pre-recorded calls received by numerous mobile subscribers in Gujarat. According to police sources, the latest threat was also given in the voice of Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, a US-based lawyer and the founder of the Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) organisation
The cops, on the other hand, have no idea who has been assisting Pannun in issuing the threats. According to the new pre-recorded message, Union government leaders are to blame for the murders of Sikh farmers who revolted against new agriculture policies in 2020-2021.
They will not forgive the administration for those deaths, according to the statement.
The SFJ previously employed a sim box to issue threats. According to local police sources, only one sim box case has been busted so far, and fraudsters are still running eight additional sim box rackets.
A sim box converts international voice over internet protocol (VoIP) calls into local GSM (mobile network) calls.
On the evening of March 8, thousands of people in Gujarat got recorded audio notes from a US-based lawyer, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, the head of Sikhs for Justice, through WhatsApp or calls. The mob vowed to invade the Narendra Modi cricket stadium in the city during the India-Australia test match, according to the audio clip.
