The makers of the KGF franchise and Kantara, Hombale Films today issued a statement underlining their plans for the entertainment industry in the next five years. The social media handle of the production company shared a tweet wishing everyone for New Year 2023 before going on to list their plans.
HOMBALE FILMS TO INVEST RS 3000 crore
A while back, Hombale Films head Vijay Kiragandur, shared a season’s greetings, writing, “On behalf of @HombaleFilms, I wish to extend my heartfelt greetings for the new year and appreciate you all for showering unwavering love and support towards us. #HappyNewYear!”
Along with the tweet, Hombale Films shared a statement by Kirangandur where he spoke about how great a year 2022 was for them and how they plan to move forward.
“Last year has been a great and a fulfilling one for us,” he wrote, before adding that the Cinema entertainment which has been there since time immemorial “has been a huge medium of relief and joy.”
“It has also been a strong carrier of our culture, tradition and history,” his statement read, before he added that as they embark on a new year, they promise to produce compelling content, “with an immersive experience that can have a lasting memory and can leave an inedible impression.”
With this interest in mind, we pledge to invest Rs 3000 crores in the coming 5 years for a sustainable growth in the entertainment sector,” Vijay shared in his statement.

After delivering massive hits such as KGF Chapter 2 and KGF Chapter 2, as well as Rishab Shetty’s Kantara, Hombali films is all geared up to release Prashanth Neel directorial Salaar, starring Prabhas and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. Apart from it they have Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Tysin and Rakshit SHetty’s Richard Anthony among other projects.
