Makers of Bajrangi Bhaijaan are working on a sequel to the 2015 blockbuster which starred Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles. The upcoming film has reportedly been titled Pawan Putra Bhaijaan and rumours are rife that Bebo will not be a part of it. There was buzz that Salman’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has replaced Kareena in Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. However, here’s the truth.
Kareena Kapoor Khan REPLACED by Pooja Hegde?
Recently, it was rumoured that South actress Pooja Hegde will be seen sharing the screen space with Salman Khan once again. After Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, they were reportedly set to collaborate for Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s sequel. However, a ‘well-informed’ source has rubbished the rumours.
As per a report by ETimes, Pawan Putra Bhaijaan makers are still working on the script of the film. A source was quoted as saying, “The title (Pawan Putra) is correct. The rest is someone’s feverish imagination at work. How can actors be replaced when there is no script right now? The sequel is far from reaching the production stage at the moment. Replacing Kareena with Pooja is not even a possibility right now. One more thing: does Kareena look like she can be replaced by anyone?”

Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of his much-awaited family drama Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which was earlier titled Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. It is set to hit the theatres this Eid. Salman also has Tiger 3 in the pipeline.
