Storyline of Kantara:
A Keralan village serves as the setting for the romantic suspense film Kantara. While playing place in a fictional Dakshina Kannada village, it vividly depicts the traditional cultures of Kambla and Bhootha Kola. The love tale of a young couple who are ripped apart by the caste system is the focus of the movie. The settlement is claimed to be surrounded by the powers of demigods, who are thought to be its protectors. The plot is affected when ego conflicts erupt amid regional traditions and culture. In a conflict between humanity and nature, Shiva is rebelling and striving against the latter. He engages in passionate debates that turn into a conflict between the villagers and evil entities.
