Actress Kajal Aggarwal on Friday took to her Instagram handle and shared her thoughts on mental health and how she overcomes it by introducing her new hobby – knitting.
The Magadheera actress posted a picture of knitting that she made and wrote, “KNIT. PRAY. LOVE. While the situation is very grim, there is a general feeling of helplessness and anxiety around us. It is very important to focus and apply our minds to something, it can be anything- The idea is to feel purposeful/ creative and establish a sense of usefulness, productivity and achievement,” she wrote.
She continued, “I have taken up knitting very recently and it helps me relax, it helps with mental well-being! I believe the act of creating something for others is truly therapeutic! What are you doing to stay occupied at home in your free time?”
She has also recently posted her thoughts on the current pandemic crisis and extended her support for health workers. She wrote on her Instagram handle, “The world is a scary place right now and this pandemic is testing our resilience, health and patience in ways we didn’t know possible. The least we can do, through this, is not burden our overworked health care system. #stayhome #staysafe”.
The actress today, celebrated her semi-wedding anniversary. She took to her Instagram story and wrote, “Waking up to the beautiful flowers, husband knows how to spread cheer. Happy Semi-anniversary to you too @kitchlug”. The Kavacham star is married to Gautam Kitchlu on October 30, 2020.
Earlier today, the actress expressed her heartfelt condolences on hearing director KV Anand’s demise. She wrote, “Such a distinguished man of impeccable character, brilliant skill and a vision like no other. So privileged to have worked and known you Kv sir. You shall always live on through your legendary work. He used to jokingly call me a juke box! 🙁 My heartfelt condolence to your family, friends and fans. Om Shanti #ripkvanand #gonetoosoon”.
The actress was last seen in the film Mosagallu directed by Jeffrey Gee Chin. She played the role of sister to Vishnu Manchu, the lead star in the film. She completed filming Hey Sinamika in December 2020. She is currently working on Acharya starring Chiranjeevi. The film is directed by Koratala Siva and produced by Matinee Entertainment and Konidela Production Company.
