John Mayer to perform his debut India concert in Mumbai next year; Know when and where tickets go live

Seven time Grammy Award winner John Mayer is set to make his long awaited India debut with a one night only concert at Mahalaxmi Racecourse, Mumbai, on January 22, 2026.

Mayer is known for blending blues, rock, folk, and pop, has delivered hits including Gravity, Your Body Is a Wonderland, Slow Dancing in a Burning Room, New Light, and Waiting on the World to Change. He has sold over 20 million albums worldwide and collaborated with legends such as Eric Clapton, B.B. King, Alicia Keys, and Ed Sheeran.

Ahead of the concert, Mayer shared his excitement, “India has long been on my list of places to play, not just for the vibrancy of its culture but for the way music lives in the everyday lives of people here. To finally perform in Mumbai feels both humbling and exhilarating.”

How to Book Tickets for John Mayer’s first India show

Tickets will go live in two phases, exclusively on BookMyShow:

  • Pre-sale opens October 12 at 12 noon
  • General On-Sale begins October 14 at 1 pm
