The Jammu and Kashmir Police  arrested three over-ground workers (OGWs) of banned terror outfit Hizbul Mujahideen from the Kulgam district of the union territory. The police also recovered arms and ammunition from the arrested people.
The arrested OGWs of Hizbul Mujahideen have been identified as Mohammad Abass Wagay, Gowhar Shafi Mir and Nisar Rehman Sheikh. The police on Friday received input about the movement of anti-national elements carrying arms and ammunition, reported PTI.
Acting swiftly, they established a checkpoint at Daderkoot-Alamganj crossing. The police then intercepted the three people travelling on a motorcycle.
