For the unversed, the Yashoda star revealed that she had been diagnosed with Myositis and is currently recovering from the autoimmune condition. Ever since the news about her health came out, fans started worrying about Sam. However, there is a new update about the Kushi actress.
SAMANTHA’S SPOKESPERSON REACTS
Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s spokesperson has reportedly refuted the claims about the actress getting admitted to the hospital due to her ill health. Reports suggested that after her Myositis diagnosis, her health worsen. Hence, she was reportedly taken to a hospital in Hyderabad.
However, Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s spokesperson informed IndiaToday.in that the reports are untrue and she is at home. He further stated that her condition is not life-threatening and she is not dying anytime soon.
Sam wrote, “Your response to the Yashodha Trailer was overwhelming. It is this love and connection that I share with all of you, that gives me the strength to deal with the seemingly unending challenges that life throws at me. A few months back I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis. I was hoping to share this after it had gone into remission. But it is taking a little longer than I hoped. I am slowly realising that we don’t always need to put up a strong front. Accepting this vulnerability is something that I am still struggling with. The doctors are confident that I will make a complete recovery very soon. I have had good days and bad days…. physically and emotionally…. and even when it feels like I can’t handle one more day of this, somehow that moment passes. I guess it can only mean that I am one more day closer to recovery. I love you.. THIS TOO SHALL PASS.”
YASHODA IS A BIG HIT
Talking about her latest project, Samantha’s latest flick Yashoda turned out to be a superhit at the box office. Directed by Hari and Harish, the Telugu film has so far collected more than Rs 30 crore at the box office. Sam will next be seen in Kushi opposite Vijay Deverakonda.
