Is Diljit Dosanjh Really Out Of Border 2? Here’s The Truth Behind The Rumours

There is a concerted attempt to discredit Diljit Dosanjh, to prove he is less dedicated an Indian than others.

The controversy regarding his participation in a film featuring a Pakistani actress has snowballed into a rabid anti-Dosanjh campaign.

The most recent development is the virulent rumour of Diljit Dosanjh being ousted from director Anurag Singh’s war drama Border 2.

However, a source very close to the project says the rumour is completely unfounded. “They have already shot about 40 percent of Border 2 with Diljit and the rest of the cast. And even if they hadn’t shot with him, there was no question of replacing him. Diljit is an integral part of Border 2. He has a tailormade part. No other actor could play his character.”

About the trouble that Diljit’s casting may cause during release, the source says, “Jab hoga dekha jayaga. But Border 2 won’t be made without Diljit.”
