Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha, said that Gujarat was ready for an AAP government following the forthcoming Assembly polls in the state. AAP co-in-charge for Gujarat took out a road show in the BJP-ruled state and urged corporators to join hands to uproot the ‘corrupt’ BJP government.
Chaddha also addressed several nukkad meetings and interacted with party workers, volunteers and locals during his visit to the western state. “One can understand the mood of Gujarat just by looking at the enthusiastic response of the people of Surat today. I am quite sure that the people of Gujarat are ready for an AAP government,” Chadha said in his address.
BJP conducting ‘fake surveys’: Chadha
Alleging that the BJP was making ‘fake surveys’ to claim that it was placed to win the forthcoming Assembly elections, Chadha claimed that the Intelligence Bureau (IB) has given the ruling party an internal survey report, which has made the it ‘nervous and frustrated’.
“But people of Gujarat are looking at the AAP as the agent of change. They want a change and the AAP is ready to take on that responsibility,” he added. Chadha claimed that the time has come to uproot the BJP, which has been ruling the state for the past 27 years. He also appealed to the masses that a vote for AAP will ‘usher in an era of prosperity and well being for the state’.
Besides rallies, Chadha also held meetings with AAP functionaries in Gujarat and inaugurated the party office in Katargam.Later, he also addressed a nukkad meeting. Gujarat is slated to face the ballot later this year and the AAP has decided to take on the BJP in PM Narendra Modi’s home state.
