Inconsistency In The Order
After the 1st T20I, Team India’s top order struggled to performed in last two matches of the series. Apart from Abhishek Sharma, who was brilliant in the 1st T20I, rest batters are struggling to get going, even skipper Suryakumar’s performance has been inconsistent.
Injury Concerns
Injuries to Rinku Singh and Nitish Kumar Reddy led the instability in the middle-order batting for Team India.
Washington Sundar’s Poor Bowling
Despite having good numbers in T20Is, Washington Sundar is having a torrid time with all-round performance in the ongoing series. In the last T20I in Rajkot, he was hammered all over the ground.
Suryakumar Yadav’s Poor Form
One of the top T20I batters, Suryakumar Yadav has been India’s sensational batter in the shortest format of the game. But in recent times, SKY’s performance has been dipped. One of the cleanest strikers of the ball is having a tough time in the game.
Dhruv Jurel’s Place
The last not the least, there has been a lot of questions asked about young talent Dhruv Jurel’s place in the playing XI. He hasn’t performed well in terms of his potential. Once Rinku Singh comes back into playing XI, Jurel might have to sit in the dugout.
