India won their first Test Bangladesh by a margin of 280 runs. In a release that was issued by BCCI, the same squad was retained for the 2nd Test.

The second Test will be played at Green Park in Kanpur from 27th September.

India’s squad for the 2nd Test against Bangladesh: Rohit Sharma (C), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Sarfaraz Khan, Rishabh Pant (WK), Dhruv Jurel (WK), R Ashwin, R Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohd. Siraj, Akash Deep, Jasprit Bumrah, Yash Dayal

The Indian team skipper Rohit Sharma, said that India would follow the same pattern as they did in England earlier this year.

India’s win was a show of complete dominance, as Bangladesh faced a 280 runs defeat. Ravichandran Ashwin was the ‘Player Of The Match’ with 6 wickets. He registered his 37th five-wicket haul and completely destroyed Bangladesh’s batting lineup. Shanto was the sole performer from the visiting side as he put up a fighting knock of 82 runs.

Shanto was also dismissed by Ravindra Jadeja as Shanto top-edged a cut shot to Bumrah leaving Bangladesh struggling at 222/8.
